After eighteen years of emceeing all types of shows and affairs in any and every hall - and in different languages – and becoming the top in the field, Menachem Toker is retiring from the field of emceeing affairs at the age of only 36.

Toker emceed his first show at the age of 18. It was for Zichron Menachem in the huge Yad Eliyahu Football Field. Ever since then, he has stood and emceed on every stage possible. His expertise changed emceeing shows from being mainly 'helpful' to becoming a necessity.

"It is virtually impossible to think of staging a show without an emcee. However the emcee has to walk on a tightrope – being entertaining, being short and to the point, but without, willingly or not, upstaging the performers or the performance. This is Toker's greatness, "says one of Toker's close friends. He continued, "Toker managed to be the thread that linked the performer to the audience."

Shlager has found out that there is no actual serious reason for Toker's retirement from emceeing affairs besides the fact that he has become 'fed up with it….'

Toker, is this true? "Yes, it is true!. I am taking a breather and leaving the stage to the young and talented emcees the field has to offer. I'm sure that no one will miss me…"

Menachem emceed thousand of affairs and shows on every stage here – Yad Eliyahu, Caesarea, Binyanei Ha'uma, Yarkon Park – and abroad.
